Service and project terms
1. Scope and quotation
Each project starts with a written quotation that lists the pages, features and deliverables included and anything excluded. Work outside that scope is quoted separately. Starting prices published on this website are not a quotation.
2. Pricing and third-party costs
Prices are in South African rand (ZAR). Domain registration, hosting, payment gateway fees and third-party software are paid to those providers unless the quotation says otherwise.
3. Payment terms
Owner review required: state deposit, milestone and final payment terms, accepted payment methods and late-payment consequences
4. Client content
You are responsible for supplying text, images, logos and other material, and for having the right to use it. We can discuss content assistance, which is quoted separately.
5. Review and changes
You will be able to review the website before launch and request changes within the agreed scope. Owner review required: state how many rounds of changes are included, if any, and how additional changes are charged
6. Timelines
Expected timing is discussed when the scope is agreed and depends on timely content and feedback. Owner review required: state whether timing is an estimate or a commitment
7. Ownership and intellectual property
Owner review required: state who owns the design, code and content on full payment, and any rights Luxe Development retains, such as showing the work in its portfolio
8. Cancellation and refunds
Owner review required: state what happens if a project is cancelled by either party, and what is refundable
9. After launch
Owner review required: state whether post-launch support, fixes or maintenance are included, for how long, and what costs extra
10. Liability
Owner review required: liability wording must be reviewed by the business owner or a legal professional
